The physical side of Rockstar's launch campaign has started. A1-sized GTA 6 posters distributed by Rockstar and Take-Two are now going up on walls and windows at brick-and-mortar retailers, with Smyths among the chains confirmed to have received them. The posters carry a provisional 18+ PEGI rating, with the final certification expected in the coming weeks.

Alongside the posters, stores are putting out A4 notices covering the practical details for walk-in customers: the Standard Edition at £67.99, two pounds under Rockstar's £69.99 UK price, and confirmation that the codes inside boxed copies can be collected from November 12, the same day pre-loading opens, a week ahead of the November 19 launch. It lines up with earlier reporting that Rockstar had begun manufacturing posters, billboards and physical boxes, and with Miami Beach's vote to permit oversized GTA 6 signage in the run-up to release.

Why it matters: retail point-of-sale is the last marketing beat before the heavy spend, and it confirms the November 12 code-pickup date at the counter. That matters for anyone who pre-ordered a physical copy assuming a disc was in the box. It is not: boxed copies ship with a download code.
